UN Freak X

Which one, and should I?

My wife is against carbonium but I’d rather than the PVD. Perhaps the rose gold is the way, any thoughts?

I like the blue titanium version but 43mm is still too big for my tiny wrist.

The rose gold version looks nice though.

Immaterial, buy the one YOU want!

Of course, if you get a say in which handbag she buys, then here’s the pro quo to your quid.

As a UN fan I like the new Freak X and would go with the carbonium piece. As to whether you should, I would find it hard picking a Freak X over a used Freak 1. Freak 1 is 42.5mm, the original and will always be special. Depends if you need a new and waterproof Freak?

Need is an interesting thought. I was looking at it more like an opportunity, one advantage in my mind is having the traditional crown.

Need at this level is indeed an interesting thought.

I’ve never missed not having a crown. It is simplicity itself to change the time with the bezel and an 8 day power reserve is easy to keep track of, the view of the mainspring acting as a power reserve indicator.

They seem to be trickling in now. I've seen the Rose Gold in person and it's really nice, waiting to see the rest before deciding.

Bumping this as I have become very interested in the Freak out lately. I believe the Freak out is preferred over the X due to the use of movement that is more true to the original.

Anyone own one?
