Marathon GSAR

I recently bought a Marathon GSAR. This is a tool watch built for the harshest environments and since opening the box I havent been able to take it off. It is 41mm and feels like it weighs 5 pounds. It is gaining 1 second person day, which is near perfect according to COSC standards. I have a blue-gold two tone Submariner and black stainless GMT Master 2 which are both gaining about 3-4 seconds per day, in addition to two Patek Phillipes, and there is just something about the GSAR that has me grabbing it everyday. For the money, I don't think it can be beat, and regardless of money, I'm consistently wearing it over my four Rolex's and Pateks. Love it.

For anyone unfamiliar with the Marathon GSAR, here is a link: https://www.marathonwatch.com/produc...automatic-gsar

I bought it with the stainless bracelet and they threw in the rubber dive watch for free.

Nice watch! I had the Marathon Pilots Navigator with tritium tubes in the past and I loved it. They make great watches, back then I think they only sold to police & military so it was a bit tough to source them.

Congrats on the GSAR!

I've owned a SAR for years, a staple of my collection. In fact, wearing it today. These are just great bulletproof watches. Been diving with mine as well.
