Regarding the price, i think can get it for 2.000 euro ($ 2.200), a new specimen from an official retailer, here in my city in Italy. For a triple calendar with moon phases and chrono it seems to me excellent ...! What do you think mechanically? To me it seems fine, an honest 7750, robust and tested

I was thinking about it for a while. A hell of a watch for the money.

This morning i saw the new Frederique Constant moonphase. Beautiful watch, manufacture, nice price, but the Longines remains a triple calendar...

Have one. Nice watch. As you get older the eyes may feel that the dial is very busy. But unbeatable for features to pricing and from a good horological house.

News!
A little while ago i went to official dealer of my city who has a black dial and strap. I prefer the white dial with brown strap.
I would get a decent discount: $ 2,100.
I think i'll take it

If you're looking at worldtimers - check out the montblanc as well.

I love moonphases and am a big fan of Longines in that price range although I would look at Montblanc as well. Both make lovely, quality watches that punch above their price range.

I was at a Montblanc dealer this morning. Nice watches but another price range for the moonphases, about double...
I also like Longines better, i mean aesthetics ... let's say I decided, i just have to order it.
A tip: would you take it white or black? 40 or 42 mm diameter?

Congratulations! Great looking watch. I like the white dial best for such a classic watch. What size is it?
