no. The bezel insert is ceramic, the dial is enameled brass.

I'm not sure about the enamel aspect. I have read that the brass dials are either lacquered, electroplated, or PVD coated. Enamel is thought to be ill-suited to a sports watch due to its likelihood of cracking.

GMT II dial

It's black lacquer paint. It's actually a deeper and wetter black than I've seen with black ceramic. I just wish Rolex would drill the center hole after the paint process so we don't get the black hole style curvature in the middle. Everyone else can make a gloss dial without a dent in the middle.

Interesting, I hadn't ever heard of this one before. Do you have a reference to a picture showing this in detail?

It's in every lacquer Rolex. Even the new OP color dials. Here's a good shot of it on a sub.
