2018 Forum Year in Review

Overall, a great year IMO. Lots of learnings from other posters.

Lots of threads this year on short supply of almost all Rolex SS models. Unfortunately, this was caused by lots of demand in general plus intentional luxury brand marketing practices to limit supply to increase consumer demand of specific models such as the BLRO.

Maybe 2019 is the year of the Batman

2018 was much better than 2017. Hopes are high for a great 2019.

I’ll echo that, too...

And hope 2019 is much better ahead.

One note of review is the wonderful 3 giveaways certainly were the best I can recall. So thanks to those sponsors, Steve and the Mods.

I’m looking forward to 2019.

‘18, particularly the end, with a furnace, boiler wand water heater failure (and flood) within a week, right before Christmas... Just the law of averages says it’ll be better!

That was some good watch money I had to mop up off the floor all night!

But, I did get a SWEET Seiko that I haven’t been able to take off. Such a great piece.

Happy. Ew year everyone!

Love your succinctness Chewy.

It would have taken me at least 41 words (and a number) to communicate the same assessment which is that it has been a very enjoyable year on TRF with plenty of engaging threads, some humour, some pathos, some joy and a lot of fun.

It’s over that crazy 2018. Now we’re in for a crazier 2019! With much prosperity.
