1601 Datejust- Bezel is gold, crown should be too, right?

looking at one one these, and the crown is SS, so... something funny going on?

If it is a two tone, the case should be SS but the bezel, hands, markers and crown should be gold, correct?

thank you!

Are you referring just to the two-tone version? Because keep in mind that a 1601 DJ can have a white gold bezel and a stainless steel crown. On the two-tone, bezel is yellow gold and crown is yellow gold.

the pics in the ad were poor, it looked like a champagne dial and when light hit it, in a certain angle, the bezel looked gold in the pictures... it is not, it may be the white gold as Aaron noted...

Most likely it is a SS model and someone decided down the road that they wanted a splash of gold on it. Its an easy fix if you dont like it. White gold bezels are easy enough to come by.

The older white gold bezels of the DJ will show as light gold after a few years of wear and tear.
