Similar situation w/ the purchase of my SD43. They did indeed have a list, but the day it came in the guy with said list was off. I had called the day before and talked to this lady for 15-20 min, all excited and eager. She remembered me, and instead of waiting for her coworker to come in the next day with the list, she called me! I honestly felt a little bad for whoever was 1st on the list but I got over it by telling myself they were probably just gonna flip it for a profit and it's my daily wear so it went to the right home. |

Congratulations! Don't let them fool you. They virtually always have a blnr in stock if it's the AD I think it is
That said, who cares it's awesome and they are generally going for MSRP still so no harm.

Thanks! I would've thought the exact same thing as you if not for my own reliable source (who has procured me pieces before from ADs across the country) who told me it'd be a 1-2 month wait through him at this point as stock across the country was extremely limited (and apparently spoken for). I also didn't mention the guy who came in 10 mins after me who also asked for a "Batman" and was turned away. But hey, if they were just trying to make me feel special....Mission: Accomplished. Lol. Nice!
I'm still waiting. My AD has offered me a great price so I'm being patient. They've also ordered a super jubilee for me.

Great story, enjoy the new purchase - I had to just pull mine out the safe to check it / try it on . Few days to go until anniversary unfortunately.
As for the wait list, I'm pretty sure the AD's have a handle on who is on the list for an instant profit & who is genuinely in love with the watch. If they felt you deserved it, happy days. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re-reading this thread a year later. My how things have changed in the Rolex world. Same AD isn’t event taking any more names for the list and would have required full payment via bank draft.
Since then, the family’s grown up a bit:

You will probably pay more than MSRP for a slightly used one. I don’t think I have seen one for sale under $10K on the forum in a long time. I’d just order one at an AD. It seems like they don’t take longer than a few months to get one. |

I'm so glad I got it when I did, I recently stopped by the AD and we laughed about the timing, because none of what happened that day would happen now. |
