Help needed please
Good evening , I am new to the forum so hi to all members . I am looking to date my 1680 and getting conflicting dates , the series number is 657xxx can anyone be kind enough to give me a date [edited to meet Forum rules]. Extremely grateful for any help , have a great weekend

The 1680 went into production in late 1960s/early1970s, and you provide a 600K serial, which would date it to early 1949! If you missed a digit (and your watch is in fact a 6 million serial), then you are looking at late 1980.
Price-wise, anything goes, and depends on condition, box/papers, etc. Check chrono24.com. |

There is no publicly available data-base that will give you an exact date. All Internet charts are good enough to date a watch within a couple of year window.
Our chart would date your watch at ~1981.

Its a muggles muggle this watch dating hence why I am so confused , three people have replied for which I offer my sincere thanks its greatly appreciated , so far I have 1948 , late 60,s , 1978 , 1981 so I am very confused indeed . I did look again and I cannot see any digits before the 657930 but my eyes are not a good as once they were . I did use a 50x Lupe and cannot see anything other than the 657930 . Once again appreciate the replies it most helpful , have a great weekend regards Mark

Your serial number is way too late to be in the 60's and even 1978 would likely be too early as well. It is pretty solidly in the 80/81 era when they were being replaced by the 16800.
