V Serial Daytona
Can someone tell me what it means if a watchmaker says my Daytona has intermittent chatter? I've never heard that term before and can't find a link to it through Google. Is there another term for that? Is it a real thing?
Also, if a Daytona measures at +4s/d; 262 amplitude; and .3ms beat error is it in need of immediate service? Those numbers are within Rolex specs, are they not? Do those specs describe a relatively healthy watch? Thanks for any insight anyone might be able to provide. |

The amplitude could be higher, the accuracy and beat error are fine. Nothing to worry methinks.
