Yet another 5711 quandary
So I was offered a 5711 about a year ago from my 'go to' AD. I think I have paid for multiple Ivy League university degrees for his kids. I have worn it less than 20 days. I know how hot they are and I do like it I just never wear it. Not looking to sell it, well not really. I have a 5726 strap and 5712 and a 5711P. Those first two seem to get my Nautilus wrist time, the P is in hibernation. All four are dark dials.
I have a chance as a reward (nice to have 14 Patek) to pick up a 5711 white dial. I am seriously considering it. Nautilus are hot right now and I have no fear of the bottom falling out of them. I have yet to see a white in person. I have a few days until it arrives. If they ever stop the 5711 production, the the white started the end of 2012 they will be far fewer. Maybe a good thing. For those who have the white dial, do any of you also have the blue? If so, what gets worn more? The 5711 is still an inexpensive (relative term) watch. I see no reason not to have it. I suppose just seeking some enabling or nay saying. Thanks guys. |

White is great. Had one for a year or two.
I could go on and on about the details but honestly you have little to lose. Might as well grab it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Lots of threads on the white...I sold my blue for the white and like it a lot. Plenty of pics on that thread. I wear the P a lot as well as I like that blue.

Keep it sealed and locked in the safe.
Come back in 5 years and give us an update if you still want to wear it. |

There is nothing wrong with having both a blue and white dial 5711!

Next time, may I suggest you just go with this instead… …and we can all respond with... Seeing as the watch is "inexpensive", and the question was rhetorical, can we just skip to the congrats stage now? |

I prefer the white 5711 but both sealed/unworn would be even better!

Get the white, with the 5711P with the vibrant blue dial don't see how your 5711 gets worn.
