What's with all this Smurf Sub bashing?
Hey, I'm considering getting a Smurf Sub, and all I see is bashing. In fact, isn't calling it a Smurf Sub a form of bashing. What gives?
OK having gotten that out of the way, how many of you now own the Smurf Sub, and how do you feel about the color after wearing it? It looks very light in comparison to the old "Bluesy" which color I liked a lot. Also, anyone having trouble with theirs? |

You mean the white gold / blue ceramic? If so....I would love one. Or a remodeled Kitchen. Same price, eh?

I like it, but I don't understand paying that much for a WG Sub that will look like the SS later this year.....but that's just me.

Actually thinking of the Two Tone with the blue dial. I'd love the watch in stainless steel, but I understand that the stainless Rolex Sub never comes out with a blue dial.

If that turns out to be true, then it makes sense, but that's not what I've heard.........

Here's a side-by-side comparison, Dalip......you be the judge.
Old one on the left.......new Ceramic bezel on the right!!

FWIW I love the new smurf. The only thing standing in the way of ownership is the price Rolex wants for it.

Wish they made the new Ceramic the same color as the old aluminum. Guess I'll have to see the new one in person, but our local dealer hasn't had one in yet. |

Love the new TT Blue Ceramic Sub. Tried one on at my local Rolex AD last October. Would have bought it in a minute, but it was over my budget. I had to settle for an LV Sub.

In the end, i would probably pic the one with the ceramic bezel because i like the finish the bezel has to offer. |

Just flipped my 16613LB for a 116613LB.
Loving it! Waiting for the mailman, though. The beauty hasn't arrived yet... |

Tried this beauty on at an AD in Maui a month or so ago. I'm 99% sure this will be my next Rolex.

This is one of the few photos that capture how cool this watch really is. Just beautiful. Now, that said the price makes me want to cringe but oh well that's the way it goes. I tried it on in Aruba, 25K USD I believe I was quoted. Thats a SDDS, TT DJII and a Coke GMTII I'd rather spend the cashola on.
