Great experience with New York RSC!!!!!

I mailed my watch on 11/15 and got it back yesterday.
I have the YM that Jared's bent the clasp on when sizing it.
I was still waiting to hear from Rolex on the process and they just fixed it and mailed it back.
It looks great. If you look real close you can see the spot that was bent and that is knowing the exact spot and being extremely critical.
They did an amazing job!!!!!
They also sent me a Rolex pouch and polishing cloth. I looked over the entire watch and there are not any additional scratches. I was concerned after mailing it I read a lot of negative reviews about them.
My only expense was shipping the watch to them.

Great news.

You won't even remember this little issue in 3-4 years but I am sure you will remember the service from RSC.

Great news I guess we forget that they work on 10's of thousands of watches and like any business they have good days and bad days. As long as they fix the issues, that's all we can ask

Cool to hear!!  How old was your YM? Did it have scratches/scuffs before going in that they buffed out for you?  Did they touch the bezel?

If you have pictures ease share!

Funny how Jared could screw something as simple as a watch sizing. When I got my Seamaster from them a few months back the woman sizing it totally bent 2 of the pins from the links and just stuffed it in a baggie without saying anything. Needless to say I eventually got the watch returned later on for a full refund but I am just surprised at the amount of incompetent people that work for that company. I'm glad your experience with the RSC panned out!

Nice to hear it was fixed and returned in a timely manner Susan!!
I might suggest you stay away from the Jared's AD in the future...Completely inexcusable to have bent your clasp in the first place!!

Thanks everyone!
JJL - I bought it new from Jareds 6 1/2 hours away. I got home and noticed that when they sized it they bent the clasp. I tried to live with it. It bothered me both to look at it and it dug in to my wrist. I called Rolex and they said I had to send it in to New York. I asked if I could go to the local AD and they said they didn't want me to since it is a new watch. So I sent it to NY. A friend warned me when he had his watch serviced they polished it and wore down the Rolex on the crown. When I sent it I asked them not to polish it. I also read posts of scratches in watches after sent it for service on bracelets so I was a little concerned sending it in. Got it back and it is perfect. I am also glad they repaired it instead of replacing the clasp. Keeps it original.
