Big fan of chronographs. Not because they are in your face, but because I value timepieces with multiple functions besides just telling time. It's the steak, not the sizzle.

Of course it is about the look for me as well! Love Chrono's especially Patek ones! Also no idea about what OP means about in your face.

Quite a few of my watches have a chrono function. That does not mean I am into chronos. The only things I use the chrono function for are to time our morning walks and when I water the plants with a garden hose. Since I broke my foot I don't walk in the morning and I only water the plants every couple of days.

Most days I wear my 16710 all black Y-series. I love the GMT function much more than I like chronos.

I do love chronos.
Every time I buy a new watch I say, I already have way too many chronos...let's get something else...then I buy another chrono LOL

Not for me. It makes the watch look difficult to read the time. I like my watches to be simple.

Not a chrono fan at all. I don't need the function and i like clean dials.
I will make an exception for the Dato though

I'm OK with chronos but not too much; getting this one refurbed next week. Off to HK with it. IIRC, Omega wants about $1200 for a service. Another reason not to be too fond.
