Picked up blnr today, but have questions
Hi everyone,
Fortunate enough to pick up BLNR from AD yesterday . However, have some questions. - AD told me I will receive warranty card from Rolex mailed to me. Is this correct? I checked hang tag, box and inner ring engraving for SN, they all match. Also, can someone take a look and tell me if I'm missing anything else from the packaging? I'll be following with AD today on warranty card, but also want to ensure I'm not 'missing' anything else. Thanks,

I recieved everything you have there but the AD provided the card with the watch, it was not mailed to me, maybe it is different with your AD.

First congrats! And second, yes make sure to get that warranty card--it's the 'birth certificate' for the watch.

It all looks good, but I have never heard of an AD posting the card afterwards...Did they say why?

I would follow up on that: the card has always been with the watch (any watch) that I have ever bought.
Congrats on the awesome pick up BTW!

Same here. Bought at two different ADs and always received the card with the watch. I do not know why they would mail it, but if that is the case, make sure you get it.
As for the other stuff, I am not sure. I do not care much about booklets and the like. |

No it comes in the mail, don't worry, not sure when the others who replied above have bought a newly released watch from an AD recently
congrats! |

Thanks everyone for the congrats. I will make sure to post some wrist shots. AD rep told me Rolex will mail it directly to me. However, I'm gonna call today and confirm this. I think I may be missing the wallet-like for all the booklets. I noticed other BLNRs listed for sale include a blue wallet for all the booklets.
Thanks again,

Just bought a Daytona from an AD last week - they swiped the warranty card (plastic credit card thing) on the spot and wrote my name and date on it and gave it to me on the spot. Maybe the guy didn't have that machine to do the swipe? Computer from Rolex?
This was a very large AD - that may be the difference. In any event you need the card. |

With both of my Rolex purchases at an AD I received the warranty card right there in store with everything else.

It cracks me up someone spends nearly $10k and goes home and stresses out about a wallet and card. Relax, you have a sales receipt, right you'll get the card, many have stated previously that it gets mailed, this way it can't be left blank, etc.

You will not receive a warranty card from Rolex. The salesman is just saying that because it makes you feel better.
The warranty card will come to you from the Dealer. Some do that for whatever reason; likely to be sure that it isn't filled out incorrectly or give you a couple of days to change your mind.

Exactly. Some AD's keep the warranty card for 30 days in case you change your mind, and bring it back. After whatever time their return policy is up, they will fill in your information, and mail it to you. It comes from the AD you bought it from, not Rolex. |

My AD spent 5 weeks to mail me my warranty card. Prior to that I received an email questionnaire asking how was my experience. I complained about not getting the card and them keeping the link they removed when fitting my watch. The card showed up with the spare link.

This is news to me. All of my nine Rolex watches were purchased new from an AD and warranty card/papers have always been completed and provided to me at time of purchase. Maybe they do it differently in other parts of the world. Follow up with the AD is a smart decision.

Mayors have been doing this as long as I can remember.
They just want to wait 30 days to make sure you don't return it. |

some Ads do this to leave room in case you want to return it.
The other thought is your AD could be in the process of switching over their warranty cards to the new style cards with the electronic registration and are currently waiting for the new style cards from Rolex to provide you with |
