Hi guys, I have had basically three careers.

I am 53 yo and now retired. I went to a technical school and worked as a Commercial Diver for a few years and then went back to College and got an Engineering Degree. I worked in Nuclear Power on refit and overhaul of US Nuclear Submarines and then at Commercial Nuclear Power plants doing testing and startup for a few more years. Then I went into Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance for a few more. Now I ride my bicycle, travel, and try to get my two sons through College. I have owned two Seadwellers and an older Sub that I no longer have.

Currently I have a Submariner LV and a two tone GMTII Ceramic. The two in the middle of this picture are my only Rolex at this time.

I'm another "IT person" ... 33 years old. Just got my first Rolex a couple of weeks ago - a brand new BiMetal black face Daytona. Unfortunately I've not been able to source some extra links yet, so have been unable to wear it as I have fat wrists!

I just turned 50 last week. I have my own computer support company called The Computer Lady (hence watchlady). I have 6 Rolex watches (plus others including Patek, PAM, Omega and JLC) but here are the Rolex:

DJ Mid TT RG 178241

Sub ND 14060M non COSC

DJ SS 116234

Milgauss 116400 White
I just realized I don't have any pics of the Platty or the 34 mm Date. I'll have to take some.

When I was practicing law, my daily wearer was an 18k President. Eventully my lifestyle changed and so did my taste in watches so I sold it about six years ago.

Now at age 64, I am technically "retired" but pastor a church, serve as a hospice chaplain, and teach at a local college.

My watches are the only hobby I seem to have time for anymore. My search for a GMT to fill a niche in my collection resulted the acquisition of my new "M"/3186 Explorer II, the one and only Rolex in my stable.

At age 72, I've been retar...er retired for some time and have more hobby interests than is good for almost anyone. Left the work force as a self employed manufacturer's rep.

Joined with Fr. John (jmsrolls above), and we made a "twofer" purchase of the aforementioned "M"/3186 Explorer II black dial watches. It, too, is my only Rolex, thusfar, but I'm pretty new to high end mechanicals, so who knows what the future holds.

New guy!

Hi everyone. Im new and this is my first post. My name is Jay, I live in MA, and I just received a rolex daytona from my company as a reward.

I do not know how to work the 3 subsidiary dials. I can set the time and wind the watch, however, There are 3 subdials, at 3 oclock it has 30 units, at 6 oclock it has 60 units, and at 9 oclock it has 12. Im guessing this is for hours, minutes and seconds? How do I activate these? if i unscrew the two knobs on the top and bottom and press them, i can get the "30" dial to move, and the other button I can get the "12" dial to move... I cant get the second to move and Im not sure what purpose these have. Anyone?

I'm a partner in a venture capital firm. I've been interested in watches for many years, but never really owned them. For reasons I'm still unsure of it became a passion a couple of months ago, and I've built the collection in my sig during that period. Ordinarily by this time of year I'm spending all my free time on my motorcycles, but we've had a long, cold winter, and riding season was delayed, probably leading to temporary(?) displacement by this watch obsession. In other words, a couple of extra months of snow and cold temperatures have proved very expensive for me...
