Icon20 hey, new to the forum and need your help

hello everyone
im new to this forum and i need your help to buy my first tudor oyster
im 19 years old and have recently got a job working as a sales associate were i need the wear a suit every day and unfortunately i dont really have a dress watch, i originally wanted to get a vintage rolex datejust but quickly realized that it will take me alot of saving so im looking to get a tudor untill i can afford the rolex, ive found this on ebay and would greatly appriceate ur help with it as i dont know much about rolex or tudor, he is asking £600 for it

It looks very original to me other than the hands, maybe its just the pictures though and the really short lugs. I found it on the bay and the price looks to be at the high end of the range for its condition. I would also request a pic of the movement along with pictures between the lugs to verify model and serial number for authenticity.

For not much more you can get yourself a nice manual wind Rolex 6426 or a 6694 if you want the date. Same dimensions as that Tudor. The 6426 and 6694 are undervalued in my opinion and a great bargain.

thank for the quick reply, how long should the lugs be, ive also notices the dail has t swiss t on it but i cant see any traces of lume, is that normal for tudors?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice to see a young person interested in vintage watches. Not as well read in Tudor as Rolex. The one lug looks pretty damaged to me. Might be able to find a better example in your price range.
