As I have already had the blue (found the blue not as vibrant as I hoped) I deliberately went out to get the white. Caught the delivery timings well and with a 3 month wait have a great complement to the collection The dial is almost silver in certain light

I was just offered a white one, this thread is not helping.
I'm on the fence... seems like it is much sportier than the blue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow, Karl! Stunning pictures. They capture really well the subtle shades of this icy white beauty. Again, congratulations!

I recently got the white and would not switch it to blue even if I could. The white is much nicer in reality, yet I have not seen a picture showing its true beauty |

And ivory, and everthing in between. This is one of the most beautiful and interesting watch dials in the market. Sometimes 'misunderstood', generally by those who have not tried one in real life. It is not easy to update a classic, so thank you for doing this, Patek Philippe! |

I don't understand the hype over the blue. To be honest it looks boring to me. The white, seems to flow with the steel better.
Honestly I really don't like any blue dial nautilus. The only blue one I would maybe go slightly for is that chronograph blue because it's more of a bright ocean blue. Almost like the water color in Greece. The I only would get a white or grey dial nautilus. |

This thread is killing me. I really want the white dial 5711. I was in a position to buy one last year but couldn't even find one to try on. Honestly, the wait and attitude I got from the PP AD's was really off putting. I still haven't seen one in person. I "settled" for a black 15400st but I'm still hoping to add a white 5711 someday to give me the perfect PP/AP Genta collection.
I did finally try on a blue 5711 and found it rather small looking. So I'm hoping the white 5711 will look just right. That's one reason I bought the black 15400 since the dark dial made the watch appear smaller. I'm hoping the white dial 5711 has the opposite effect. |

Ebony and ivory, the 'Piano Nautilus'. Sleek and elegant. I own and love many watches but there is something about the whitish ivory 5711 that is simply hard to beat...
