Official Nomos Thread

I don't think I've seen one yet, so I figured I would start a Nomos only thread. See if there are any Nomos enthusiasts out there.

I'm a huge Nomos fan, but have yet to get one due to other distractions. My favorites include the Club Datum and the Zurich world timer pictured above.

My minor contribution: a comparison of two great 36mm pieces.

Congratulations, great watch wear it in the best of health!

I've been going back and forth between the Blue or White for a year now. Have yet to see the blue in person but it sure looks great in photos.

IMG_4021.jpg

Stumbled across NOMOS about two years ago and I'm a huge fan.

Strongly considering that grey dialed metro datum for my next purchase.

I'll play. Weltzeit Natchblau on a Jean Rousseau ostrich.

If I'm honest while I love the pictures of this watch and many Nomos models, in person and on the wrist I find them somewhat underwhelming. I can't put my finger on what exactly it is, but my Weltzeit very rarely gets the nod when I go to the safe.

Official Nomos Thread

I like Nomos. A lot. Only one I have at the moment.

Had a Orion date weib but flipped for something at some point. And wife had a tetra she flipped for something at some point. I will get my Orion back at some point.

Tried this on not too long ago. Didn't do it for me. Their auto was noisy. Reminds me of an old 7750 rotor noise.

Haha. I had the same indecisiveness on whether to choose the white or blue dial. Loved both equally. Went blue simply because I didn't have any blue dialed watches.

I've had mine for about a month now and really love this watch. I can see another Nomos in the future.

Well, since I don't know what else is in your collection, your Datum certainly has the dress watch category covered. That's a beautiful watch. I'd keep it and save up for the Speedmaster.

Nomos make fantastic watches. They are bit unconventional and I love their style. My 40mm Club Auto, a more traditional and favorite model:

Fantastic case, fresh and modern dial.

Thanks Angelo! I hope you're still enjoying your Club Datum

The recent posts on Nomos's IG suggests a new diver is on the horizon for Baselworld. Should be interesting whatever they release.

I'm totally enjoying my Club Datum and looking to add a Tangente 38 at some point. Also possibly a Stowa Partitio.
These German watchmakers really have their stuff together.
Like you, I'm also looking forward to Baselworld.
