I already got mine so good news for me. But I am sure there is still plenty of remaining stock left to go around or it's still available in pre-own from time to time.

The new one is not bad, the dial being more black and less pop brings the eyes in deeper

Glad I have mine now, I think these will still be sought after and prices will rise, even on top of the 15% rise UK has had on this already.

Not a surprise.

My AD said he can still get though, so have a feeling AP still has some 'in the safe'.

It will rise, popular models always do. The old ceramic was always overpriced and thus not a big seller, at least in the UK. The RG was always in demand and hard to find, resale prices were already very close to retail after Brexit.

Hence the reason they adjusted the price of ceramic (and Ti) to market reality, just like they did with gold a few years back.

Yeah, I don't think this will be quite like the RG Schumi, but the prices were coming down and I was looking to buy, and then it was discoed and the prices have rocketed. Also in the UK the price of everything popular or new is on the rise, sellers are looking for any excuse it seems. Even the very polarising AirKing is selling used at almost retail.

Hopefully I will follow it next week when I am in Europe. Weak euro and VAT refunds can be tempting.

At the AP boutique last weekend they were still offering a small discount (up to 5%) on this 44mm RG, perhaps just trying to clear stock for the new model arriving. So if you really want this model then I am sure there will be some good deals out there - especially if you are travelling with favourable currency and reclaiming VAT.

I have transferred my money from generating euros to dollars, hope the euro stays low, love when you buy real estate in dollars when you have euros and you got 1/1,30 to 1/1,48, but now I wouldn't want the dollar to fall again, 1,48 was crazy...

That's because of the falling pound more than anything. Not impossible for the next support level will be 1.10 to the dollar if Scotland votes to leave the UK in order to re-join the EU.

You will have a great and fruitful time I'm sure! I wish I had dollars.

It started out like this for sure, but now the mindset of sellers and even buyers are adjusting to this new reality where prices are high, often over retail for many Rolexes, and will remain so. The pound is stable now but if it does fall again then ofc there will be even more upwards pressure on popular prices as demand soars.

Idk. I don't know any regular ROO really that went up in value. I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I said regular ROO. RB II and lebron were limited. Which one is the white 44mm? Is there even another one?

The white 44mm sounds like one that was discontinued since I never seen it, but the RG isn't. So it won't go up in value. it will be like the CE black dial, CE anthracite dial, and now CE black/gold dial. If anything price will go down from increase supply and it already has begun.

Couldn't get an RG for under 35-36k now its 33k.

Yes I don't think the price of this watch will go up. Many would-be buyers will choose the new model, and as those come into the market used that will put extra downward pressure onto this outgoing model.

I would expect it to fall another 10% or so over the next couple of years, though of course currency fluctuations can totally change everything for you locally.

Well that's just my sentiments anyway

A great watch regardless and certainly not going to lose too much.

Our resident AP price expert? Your statement is exactly opposite of what you tried convincing me of trying to sell me your watch? hmmm.... just saying.....
