My first was the LV but to do it over again I'd start with my favorite and get the BLRO.

Mine was a 14060m which I still have. Love it!
If buying my first now it'd be a Blnr. Perfect "only "Rolex but any Sub, GMT or Explorer would be great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If I was going back to the time I got my first I would still pick the GMTII 16710 Coke bezel, if I was choosing my first now I'd go 114060 or BLNR.

I would go with 16710 too. But if you're only limiting the choice to the ones available new today, I'd say LVc?

Great thread
I think I'd start out with a Sports model such as the BLNR or Sub date. Pefect watches for all occasions and great daily wearers |

My first only 20 months ago was an Explorer, I fell in love with this piece many years ago and wouldn't change it for anything.

My 16710 Coke GMT, which was the second Rolex I picked up. Had I had this one first, it may have wound up being my one and only...

My first was a polar Exp II (16570), followed by a 39mm Explorer (214270), then the black dial Exp II (16570). If I was starting again today, I'd choose the latest 214270 first ... then I really don't know. I'm currently in the market for my very first Sub (LVc), but I'm sure I'd long for one of the "enigmatic" 40mm Explorer IIs

My first Rolex was a black dial two tone 1601. I love that color combination. Now I have that on my 116523.
If I were to start all over again.................. probably a black tapestry dial in a two tone 16013 / 16233.

My first Rolex 25 years ago was a 16610. If I were buying for the first time today, it would probably be a Sub C because I still love Subs.

It was a 14060, in 1994. If I could do it again, a 16570 or 16610.

I would have started with 16520 rather than going through 4 others first.
I still feel stupid for passing up the 16600 in it's last year of production for 30% off msrp. |

My first rolex was a deepsea, second was SS daytona, third was BLNR. If I were to do it over, I would pick BLNR as my first one.
