Although I'm not a big fan of nicknames such as "batman" it's hard to argue it didn't catch on here considering the latest giveaway tile is "batman" and everyone who entered now has that nickname under their username. As a batman pledge member I think it's safe to say, like it or not, batman caught on here.

We could call SkyDwellers "Angels." Blue Angel, Black Angel, White Angel. Etc etc. TT Angel.

Why are the Sea and Sky models "Dwellers" but the Yacht and GMT models are each a "Master"?

Should we rename the Datejust as the "DeskDweller"?

The platinum DayDate could be the "UniverseMaster."

Very busy Friday here.

That is good Superman or Captain America :) Nicknames are funny and special watches deserve them.

Nicknames can be fun sometimes, but I don't think we need a nickname for each watch. The effect is kind of lost at that point

Nah, while Batman was used playfully in the giveaway, not that many members use that here, esp non-new ones, but it is used commonly with ADs I've noticed. I don't really object but think we have enough nicknames from old school models already.

What's wrong with its designated name-calling Blue sky dweller, and at a pinch BSD. I dislike most shortening/ nicknames, particularly ' Rollie's' it justs grates on me.

I stopped reading at this post because some of suggestions made my flesh crawl.

I'm not done with my first childhood yet but I point blank refuse to refer to any of my, or other references, by these absurd nicknames.

100% agree with paid on THIS ONE. Still 100% disagree with his view of owners who demand their watches operate within a couple seconds per day of true time.

+1 Blue Steel!

I have to agree Snow Dweller sounds pretty bad. Doesn't roll off the tongue quite right...bleh.

Blue Sky-Dweller might be the best.

I think nicknames are born in a spontaneous way. Now here is a design process like this would be Madonna’s next hit song

I'd call it 326934 but I can't seem to remember it. Let's see 3*2 = 6+3 = 9... I give up. And why is it that the white gold Rolesor ends in 34 when the more expensive TT ends in only 33?
