A 46mm SD51, that will see die hard Rolex traditionalists throwing themselves from their office windows, as if it was the Wall Street crash all over again.

In all seriousness I wish for (rather than predict) the SS Coke GMT.

More upsizing would be logical, continuing what they've been doing over the past decade.

There doesn't seem to be as much room for innovation for Rolex as there was in the first half century of their existence, but I do believe that the YMII and the Sky Dweller are two innovative watches that have emerged in the last twenty years.

In my judgement, the YMII has limited appeal, unless you're super rich and you happen to race yachts and the Sky Dweller doesn't offer much to me that the GMTII doesn't offer in the practical sense.

Still, these watches have movements that are not duplicated by anyone else in terms using the bezel as a means of setting the watch.

I think that the Sky Dweller fills that bill for Rolex, even though some believe that the annual calendar complication could be improved.

I consider the Air King to be another riff on the Milgauss theme, although I may be missing something.

Have to agree but its very doubtful if anyone would use the YM11 for professional racing they would use a electronic device. As for the Skydweller great totally new movement but like you say any GMT type watch could do the same. But they have at last started to upgrade the 3 series movements after almost 30 years of use that's a plus.

For sure new DJ 41 models. Most likely SS black with fluted bezel + new movement and some (one?) with roman numerals (either TT or SS with white fluted bezel).

I'm sure they won't touch the sub next year as they will modify the GMT II first (the sub family is a better selling model).

It's anyone's guess. Who knows what 2018 will bring. Did anyone predict the SS Sky Dweller in 2017? Or for that matter, the SS BLNR in 2013? Part of the excitement...

How about a green and yellow GMT for a change, we could call it the John Deere... wouldn't even be that controversial of a nickname I have a feeling.

What about Rolex adding a GMT function to a YM2 variation for a new reference?

Think about it, it's a watch that is larger. As a larger watch that doesn't sell as well as some other professional models, what do you do to make it sell better?

Add more complications that are useful in an everyday piece. Make it more unique and more practical at the same time. A GMT or Annual Calendar complication IMO would be ideal for the model. The regatta chrono should stay and is absolutely unique with the bezel programming, but adding a more useable function could help it move off display shelves much quicker.

How about a reintroduction of the SS Daytona with Cerachrom Bezel originally shown at Basel 2016.
