Hi Richard
With the Platona I think I'd be keeping the day date.
Having said that, I got a few duplicates of the same reference type but to me they are all subtly different to warrant keeping them all, for my own reasons of course.
Ultimately what sings to you the least out of the two will have to be the one that goes.
It's a tough call, they're both beautiful.

EDIT: if you dress casual most of the time then the DD most likely would be the one to go.

This is probably no help at all now!

DD40. You have the other bases covered. IMO, a YG DD is "the" iconic Rolex.
