Incoming Speedy Pro!
Had one a few years back and always regretted letting it go. I don't flip watches anymore, I just try to buy the right watch. I wanted to repurchase this iconic Speedy for at least a year and finally pulled the trigger after coming into some extra funds. I picked this up a few days ago thanks to a great transaction with our own DavidSW.
I love the looks of this watch and its perfect for my casual style, yet also goes with anything except maybe a tux. I am looking for strap choices now. I do have an Omega black, perforated racing strap around here that I can't find, but I want to know what other strap choices I can go with. I prefer Omega, but am open to other strap makers. What is the millimeter for the strap? Is it 22mm or 20mm? I also have an Omega deployment buckle I can use too.

Congratulations on the Speedy Pro! I really think this is one of the most versatile watches when it comes to how it looks on all kinds of straps. Lug width is 20mm. Enjoy this classic!

Looks beautiful. With 20mm lug width the world is your oyster when it comes to straps.....and with a Speedy....it becomes a dangerous obsession in itself. Enjoy in good health.

Congratulations. Great watch. I like Bulang & Sons for the choice on nice looking vintage straps and the leather NATO that they do is first quality.

Beautiful. Congratulations.
I know you prefer Omega straps but do consider a non Omega vintage style strap. I think they give a tremendous vintage vibe and enhance the look of the watch. Here's mine on a sienna brown vintage strap from Bulang and Sons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Love the Speedy! Have a Speedmaster Reduced, but the next purchase will be a Speedmaster Professional. Enjoy.

Thanks guys!
I will say the bracelet is a little tricky. I wasn't expecting the little screw to come out, I thought it was a standard bracelet screw, so when it fell on the floor I thought I broke it! Luckily I found it and got it all worked out. However, it's fitting a teeny bit too snug and I need to adjust the sizing again. My wrist is 6.5 inches. I took out 2 links on the bottom side and two links on the top side. Did I take out one link too many perhaps?

Welcome to the group! The Moonwatch is not very common in Texas. I've owned mine for 7 years and have only seen maybe 5 others being worn in all that time. (Most recently, last Friday evening.) I see Daytonas between once a week and once a month. I wear mine all the time!
