Vintage Rolex Date 1501 GILT questions

Stumbled upon this and in an attempt to learn more about all things vintage, I pose the following questions:

https://theoandharris.com/vintage-wa...te-ref-1501-2/

- How did they manage to fit a 78360 bracelet on a 34mm watch? is this a deal breaker

- Arent 455B end links prevalent among aftermarket/fake parts?

- Is a gilt dial on a 34mm model worth this much?

That bracelet has mashed the ends of the lugs badly. At that price, I would pass IMHO

Sad that the end links are not real. Incorrect bracelet too I guess. I love the head of the watch though.

Pass. It's been diddled.

Should the back be all brushed or should the bevel be shiny?

A gilt dial is always gloss. Lacquer was used to seal the brass letters from tarnishing.
