I'll try and clarify what I've been saying: I do not believe for one nano-second that an AD or Panerai boutique will offer a client a blanket 20% off ANY reference. They might do it as a one off on an unpopular reference that's been sat in the safe for several years that they're desperate to get rid of. But ANY reference? No. Just, no. I'm sure that 20% discounts do exist on some references but they'll be from greys, trusted sellers and lightly used. And on some pieces there will always be a higher discount than on others, just like we see with Rolex, Omega, etc. I'm also sure that you can save 20% by buying in another country, claiming tax back and fannying around with the exchange rate just to prove a point. Just like I could do by buying in the UK using my Singapore credit card. That doesn't count. Yes, it would be a significant saving that might well be in excess of 20% but it's not the same as a 20% discount from the seller. That is all.

How about jomashop? Anyone have any experience with buying Panerai from them? They have good discounts and you can get a 372 for about 6.5k USD. I'm thinking of actually buying and importing to Sweden from them, with that discount it is still a lot cheaper than buying here even after paying the VAT of 25% when importing it... It is about 20-30% discount throughout the entire line.
