What is the reason for this survey? Simple curiosity? I'm not trying to be combative, but I don't see the importance in knowing what the net assets of someone are in relation to what they have purchased.

I own a Rolex. I also shop at Dollar Tree.

My degree of wealth has nothing to do with what watch I choose to wear.

I think under a million bearing in mind they can be bought new for £4K, and most people I know think they cost half that much. Something like a Porsche at £70K or Patek at £20K would be different. This is for a typical owner imho, I don't think we should be stating our own position.
