Blue all day for me!! Rhodium would be my second choice I really like it as well. The Platinum is too monotone personally. Good luck!! Great comfortable and versatile time piece either way you go.

Platinum, definitely

I have a 116622 in platinum. Here are a few additional considerations:

The platinum dial is actually solid platinum. The blue and rhodium dials are, I am told, finished brass.

I think there’s a dichotomy between people who favor light-colored dials vs dark-colored dials. I have always preferred the former.

The platinum dial, for me at least, seems to go better with formal and business attire while also working well with casual dress. I find it the more versatile of the three dials.

The platinum dial causes the watch to not register as a Rolex for much of the world; so it’s maybe a bit more discrete. In some parts of the world that matters.

The monochrome of the platinum dial is possibly an acquired taste for a lot of Rolex aficionados. But the watch was designed for this look--the aesthetics are integrated very well--as least for me.

Platinum is..well..platinum..that speaks for itself..
Blue dial..pretty punchy stuff..red white and blue..
Rhodium..low key..goes with more..
For me..it would be rhodium or platty..
Platty because it sparkles in the sun and as I get older with more white hair...well...
Rhodium ..because I like the low key YM...I don't think I would tire of it so quickly..

I have the platinum dial and it is the most versatile watch I own. Comfortable in shorts or suits. The platinum dial is designed to complement what you where, not be the center of attention. It fulfills that role extraordinarily well.

I like the blue better, but both are really nice.

I am in the same boat currently as the OP.

I went to my AD to see the Rhodium in person. They had a 37 in platty there as well. To compare side by side.
Not really interested in the blue as I already bought a Z Blue last May. They also had a TT with chocolate dial that was absolutely stunning.

I went to another jeweller who had a used 40mm platty for sale just to see one in person and try it on. Very pretty, Just had it listed for too much.

I'm not looking for a currency platty I want a d or f series, the dial is so much more engaging. I have the funds today for the platty but the rhodium will have to wait until early next summer for more funds to come in. (summer side business)

I wish this process would be easier than it is.

It is was a tough decision for me also. I was able to try both watches during the the same AD visit and finally decided on the rhodium for the Yachty. My logic went like this:
1. Nobody does Blue or Rhodium better than Rolex IMHO and didn't want to either option on the table.
2. Picking Rhodium for the YM left me the blue option for either the DJ or OP which are both awesome in blue.
Hopefully the blue will make in the lineup soon.

Platinum has my vote. Pictures do NOT do justice to this one. Not that you would have a bad choice with the others, but to me the Plat is just WOW!!!!

I have this terrible practical streak. I had the platinum dial and traded for the blue because the blue is easier to see in all lighting conditions. I know, it's a boring reason but, it's the truth.......

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, however, the blue is stunning and the dark rhodium has understated style. I once had a platinum YM and for me, it was occasionally difficult to see the hands.

SG56 those are some stunning photos of the Rhodium, which is my favourite of the 3 models.

I had the blue one but recently flipped it. The dial is really something else. Plus i dont like the blue hands and letters on the new rhodium one.

Can you afford all of them just to be sure...??
I've owned the Blue dial version and it wears quite small, for some reason that seems to defy logic I know the Plat dial looks bigger on the wrist therefore I echo these comments relating to the Platinum dial version.

This is a real money shot!

There's no wrong answer here; they're all stunning under the right conditions but I wouldn't change my blue for any of the others.

Seeing all the blue dials in here make me like it more than I previously did, but I got the rhodium one about a month ago and I LOVE it. I don't love the red hand on the blue and platinum.
