Silver or white face for 126333?

Currently looking into a Datejust 41 with oyster bracelet in SS and gold. I have 2 Submariners (116610LN & 116613LN) which both have black faces, so wanted to get something different.

Any opinions on whether to go for silver or white?

Both dials are great but I chose white. IMO white is classier looking.

The silver was my second choice, white too stark, but I went for...

I originally wanted white but wound up purchasing the silver. Can’t go wrong either way.

I'll almost always go with a starburst dial when given an option...there is the illusion of a "depth" to the dial that you don't get with the white.

I like the white, especially in two tone. It reads really crisp with the gold accents.

Both beautiful, but I prefer silver. White is quite stark and the silver is more neutral in my opinion, will look great whether wearing light or dark colored clothing.

Is champagne an option you're considering...maybe? I always like white in pictures but for some reason I really dig champagne in the flesh.

Possibly an option, it'd be a 3rd choice. I think I need to go to an AD and see them in the flesh.

I think the decision got a bit harder haha! I think I'll go to a couple of AD's I know and see them in person. I guess a picture will never do these faces justice

Silver tends to pick up and reflect colours nearby, so for instance if you or someone near is wearing a red shirt the dial will reflect a pinkish tone. For that reason it's more attractive than white.

I agree that white looks cleaner and more classy.

Silver / Rhodium dials to my eye, never provide enough contrast to the hands or markers.

Obviously, it will come down to personal preference.

Perhaps another alternative: the sundust.

Seems to change colors when viewed at certain angles. Not too bright as white, not too grey as silver, or not too gold as champagne.

Lots of cool variants for the DJ41. Good luck!

White dial looks great with YG or TT. I'm considering SS, have yet to see silver live, but I'm leaning that

There is the best idea in the whole thread.

If you ask us, we're going to tell you what we like, whereas you are the one who will be wearing it.
