No, you're not. I glance at my watch more to admire it rather to know what time is it. And i often forget what time it was because i get caught up in staring at it again

I feel better reading all these replies! When a meeting drones on and on I find myself getting lost in the craftsmanship and art of this amazingly beautiful tiny machine on my wrist. I feel a bit foolish but the damned thing gives me so much pleasure and delight.

I could stare at the LV or LB for 20 seconds and not know what time it is. In fact, if I want to know what time it is, I usually have to look twice:
Look down, admire, look up, 'what time was it?', oh, look down again and notice the time.
