I don't have a "beater" per se, but my most commonly worn watches are my 116710BLNR and my Omega Speedmaster Professional.

I’m thinking about “no-watch” as my “beater watch”. There is really few instances when I actually “have to” wear a watch.

That, or a g-shock.

It's not a Rolex and regardless of price it's also not a beater, but it does get the most wrist time.

They're still out there for around $450-$500. They've gone up like Daytona's

Yes. Should be a essential part of any collection.

BB58 - it just works on so many levels and is the one I wear the most in the collection.

PAM1209 because incognito is a must at times. Not a beater per say, but EDC for a while now.

+1 for the BB58. Absolutely perfect watch to wear care-free, grab-n-go, anytime anywhere. A true tool watch and strongly reminiscent of the old 5-digit subs.

A beater needs to be super tough, reliable, indestructable and always the correct time.

So I use a G-Shock solar powered GW-1400DU.

16570. No reason why a beater shouldn't be comfy too.

I bought it unserviced and unpolished with 20 years wear intentionally to have it serviced and the case and bracelet left "as is" to allow me a watch that I do NOT worry about.

If we are talking Rolex; My 214270. But for "hard" beater tasks a GA2100-4A.

My 16610 in most cases. I mean Rolex was and still is the original gshock and will outlive me by a good margin. I have a SNJ025 which I wear mountain biking these days-though my sub was with me on many rides. I find the SNJ025 more useful than a gshock due to the bezel. It also wears smaller than almost all gshocks outside of the 5600 line.
