Sea Dweller Deep Sea 11660

First post here on the forum, I have taken ownership of my first Rolex the 44 mm
sea dweller deep sea. Pre owned in VGC minor hairline scratches on the sides, bezel, crystal and bracelet flawless. Could not be happier So far the watch is averaging + 0.5 sec a day. Very pleased, I don’t have a service record documented, but was toying with the idea to have it serviced just for the piece of mind. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Congratulations, enjoy it’s a great reference. Running at +0.5 I don’t think you should bother with a service .

Welcome to the forum
Sounds like it's running great
Please post a pic when you get the chance so we can sort of get an idea of how old it is by looking at the dial. That way it will be easier to give some reasonable advise and guidance.

In the interim, you could go to a reputable watchmaker and have them put it on a timeographer. This will give a reasonable indication as to how it's travelling as a non-invasive procedure.
Keep in mind that the gold standard assessment is by opening it up and having a look which probably out to be the domain of Rolex.
They say a timeographer can tell you when a watch needs a service, but it can't necessarily tell you that it doesn't need a service
