I want to add yellow gold OF Daytona and I am torn between the black or the yellow dials ? Didn’t see both in hand ? What’s your thoughts

I prefer the Pikachu to the 116 Paul Newman, however the 126 Newman seems to be less “yellow” and I think I may prefer it,

I like contrasts.

So the black ceramic bezel goes better with the gold dial.

(Myself, I prefer a black dial, so gold bezel FTW.)

I have gone back and forth 100 times on which of these two watches I like better.

I am waitlisted for both, and whichever I am offered first will be my choice.

(Unfortunately for me … I want to buy my watches from my AD, and in these two watches, I like the 11 Series iteration more than the new 12 Series.)

In the end, from 4 feet away, on the wrist … one is a “black watch”, and one is a “gold watch” …

it just depends on what you want … a black watch, or a gold watch.

Both are beautiful, both are great.

I agree with you. A few years back, I was a SS type of guy. I thought I would never wear a YG watch until I discovered this Daytona PN on OF. It’s a smooth transition from SS to YG. Wearing this watch is a real delight and made me appreciate YG! If I had the funds, I wouldn’t hesitate to wear this full YG Dayto…
