Tick sound on a 1500
Curious, my 1500 did not tick as loud as it used to be. The sound became more prominent after it's first service in more than 30 years. Is this a normal phenomenon?

Maybe you just notice it more now? Or could it be that with the fresh coat of oil on the movement it is running more smooth? 30 years is a long time to wait between servicing.

Did only the ticks become more prominent, or did the sound of the tocks also increase in loudness? If your ticks are louder than your tocks, or vice versa, then it may be time to worry.
