PAM 735 - need advice!

Hi all,

So I have an opportunity to pick up a 735 (used with box/papers) for $13k out the door. I love the look of this watch and am missing a green dial ever since I sold my SubLV. Anyway, I need opinions from this great forum-

What is the general perception?
Longterm value/“collectibility”?

I know it’s essentially a 346, so how does it wear compared to my 1499?

One thing I forgot to mention which throws a wrench into the plan is that I would (most likely) have to sell my 1305 to help fund the purchase.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well,I don't really know the going price for that piece but I've seen pre owned 346 that has a gap of 2 years between year stamp on the watch and the year on the guarantee booklet (when the watch is actually sold)

I don't know how collectible it is since I haven't seen them on the market (the trio green dial) but I saw 911 was sold pretty fast on secondary market before I even had a chance to ask the price

The PAM 735 is one of he trio of green dial boutique only editions. Much like the trio of blue dials that preceded it, the green dials have been a big hit. If you are a fan of the green dials, then the 735 should be a consideration at $13k if it is in mint condition and complete. Of the trio, I like the 735 the least because of the cyclops date on a Radiomir. But with that said, it’s still a beautiful PAM with combination of green dial, gold hands and TI case.

At 250 units produced for one time only, it’s a rare bird and currently trading a tick above retail. If OP keeps the number of green dial PAMs to its current levels, you shouldn’t lose more than 10 percent in the short term, and it should hold close in the long term; if OP comes out with more green dials, that will drive the value of the 735 lower, especially since this is the least desirable of the three.

You currently have a 1499 and 1305; whether you trade one of these for a 735 is a matter of personal choice and preference.

Good luck with your decision.
