Thank you, JJ. The watch is beautiful on the job as well.

Some watches come with a story. I posted the bottom pic before with the story behind it but to those of you that may not have read it... Like my wife, it was love at 1st glance to me. So for our 25th Anniversary we gave a gift of matching Rolexes to each other. It has WG for the 25th and Diamonds for the hopeful 50th.

So while you fellas enjoy your non-diamond watches... This is exactly the watch I was looking for. (To be truthful, the Breitling Bentley I saw before this was gorgeous too. Maybe next year... )

Oh well, I guess that's why Rolex has such a diverse collection. Different strokes for different folks.

I too like diamond rings. At one time I had a diamond dial on my DD, but did not like the way it looked. It was aftermarket not a serti. Still, I have seen some Rollies it looks good on. When I was buying my TT DJ a couple of years ago, I considered the diamond dial. It was a great looking set up. White with diamond markers.

I think it is a matter of how the diamonds look on a particular watch. We have all seen some really fugly diamond rolex's out there. And on the flip side there are some with diamonds that are more understated. The quality of the diamonds have a lot to do with how they look on a watch as well. I have seen some really junky looking bezels with poor quality diamonds and bad setting to boot. Stock rolex always looks better.

Just my 2C

I do not like diamonds on a watch or for that matter anywhere else.

Then ya' gonna hate these...

I found these all on the same site. All of these sold for significanty less than they paid for them. I wonder why? The bottom one, for some reason, makes me want to belt out broadway show tunes.

I'm surprised to see so many Rolexes with diamonds made for men. I like diamonds on Rolex, but never on a man's watch. To me, diamonds only look appropriate on a ladies timepiece.

I was contemplating between the Day-date 18kt white gold 118239
and the daytona in 18kt white gold w/ blackface red dials.

AFter a long decision making process I went for the dayona as I can wear the watch everyday. Also being 26 i figure if i had a day-date with diamonds people would think its fake.
