Might be Ok for a full gold Sub but I sure hope they don't do it on the SS versions.

I was under the impression that Rolex started with some the DJ and TOG's about 2004 - 2005. All the other models will eventually get the same treatment. My D series TT DJ has the Rolex engraving on the ring and IMO you're less aware of it on the SS ring.

Looks better than on the ss versions.Gold on gold better than black on ss.Less disruptive. My chapters are all clean,no marks against it and reflecting light to the full,as intended, hence the name ... reflection ring

It's on my Z series SS Daytona white dial . Very subtle. I imagine it's not as subtle with a black dial.

The innner Rolex inscription is actually rather nice and very hard to see. Shows up better in photos than in real life. I like it!

To be frank, I don't like the chapter ring on ANY Sub
But I guess that we are going to get used to that chapter ring on all Rolex watches Congratulations on your watch, though! It still is a beauty!

I love the chapter ring, maybe just what I need to get me to buy another Rolex.
