Out of these two I prefer the PAM

I'm not a big Daytona fan and also like to have the date. The PAM will give you access to endless fun with straps too.
Imho the 'better buy' is the one you like most.

Two very different watches that one usually does not see being compared. If buying BNIB, the Daytona makes more "financial sense", but if buying to keep, the best choice is always which one you like best.

Between those two the Daytona wins hands down for me. The Daytona is a classic and just appears to be more of a watch, IMHO. Good luck in your decision.

Are all those pictures of the watches on your wrist? If so, it looks like you are wearing te Rolex versus the Pam wearing you. I say buy what you like buy strictly from looks, the Rolex wins.

What else do you have in your stable?

the PAM really cant go head to head with the Daytona, personal opinion. I would go for the Daytona, WG with black dial, Arabic markers. But get what you like, it will be you wearing the watch, not us.

Of those 2, Daytona 100%.

For what it's worth,
I am more of a simple/base kind of Pam guy
000, 111, 372 and I'll add in the 560 which I recently find I am drawn to.

But never with a date window, jmho
