Ummm no...the only 50th Anniversary LV and still the best is the YG model with the green dial. The others would like to be.

Gap in dial

Noticing quite a few of these Sub C LV's have a gap between the = and 3 in 300 m

Is this considered normal by Rolex, or a dial printing error?

This is normal its not considered an error. Its just the way the newer models are made.. I think

Awright ... OCD response....I believe Rolex now spaces the ft and m markers (larger gap on both sides of the = sign).

The "=" is dead centered with the 12 and 6 markers and the whole '1000ft = 300m" is dead centered under "Submariner" ...

I guess since ft is in italics, it appears to be closer to the = sign than the 3 ... A lot of analysis of something I have to squint really hard to see ...

I see a very few pics wheres theres no gap

Its identical to when I was hunting for my 14060M. 9 out of 10 had the gap. 1 out of 10 had no gap. I bought this one.

But with the LV, seems most have the gap, especially G series

Nice to see Rolex put some color dial on a Stainless Steel watch instead of limiting it to TT or Gold model. I would've loved to get GMT with a green dial in SS. But now you have to shell out for all gold model for that :) Nice LV Subs guys. I think this is the first Sub with both dial and bezel green - looks cool. Too bad about oversized lugs :p

Here's a cell pic of the dial on mine ... there is more space on both sides of the =, but the spacing is even, the italicized t on ft makes it look closer.

Being really picky, notice the different font on ft vs. the version (I think older) where there is no space. It does not really matter to me, but given the choice, I like this one better than the tighter lettering.

Right ... back to work now...

to me looks clearly like there is more of a gap to the right of the =, than the other side of it
