Hi folks, lovely collection here, and definitely poisonous! I am considering to add my first day date to my collection (i have a tudor gmt, rolex 16570 polar, seiko cocktail sakura fubuki and an incoming omega speedmaster). I am deciding on a 118239 (silver face) or a 18239 (glacier blue dial), both do not come with box and papers. Price is actually about the same due to rarity of the glacier blue dial on the 18239 (am aware it is for platinum models but i really liked the uniqueness) ... Happy to hear the forum's opinions on what you will go for... Cheers!

Post some photos.
The newer ref has a better bracelet just to start off but it all comes down to what you like best.

For the 18239, Looks just like what schro posted earlier, but with fluted bezel (and not platinum, but white gold of course). For the 118239, it is a silver dial with roman numerals... Sorfy i am having trouble posting pictures with tapa talk . Price is abt usd12.5k equivalent...

My DD contribution

Here's my platinum DDII with diamonds. Dunno why people complain about the proportions compared to the DD40 - looks pretty good to me!

Most of the complaints were about watches with fluted bezels. The platinum is a different kettle of fish. Nice watch.

Hadn't posted in the Official Thread the return a couple of weeks ago of my DD, A serial (1999), 18238, silver dial and sticks.

Technician came out and said the watch had never been serviced, was in still in, "perfect, pristine condition", and off it went with my Bluesy for their first service.

Back and Beautiful!!!!

Funny to see this thread pop back up today. Wearing my classic 36mm YG this Friday. Even though I wear 39mm-40mm watches more often, this never looks “small” to me.
