If it’s on a bracelet, then 24/7.
Canvas or leather strapped watch will get taken off for showering

I don’t wear a watch when I’m lifting. I do wear one in the pool though.

Not at the gym, nor when I run, sleep or shower. Maybe 14/7

Take it off to sleep and shower, but that’s about it.

No. I don’t see the point of showering with my watch, sleeping with it, and the other myriad of things one can do while wearing them.
When I travel which is often, I remove it less often to make sure I don’t lose it but my routine is pretty set. You can’t travel like I do and not have a routine to make sure you have your travel documents, passport, power connectors and devices or you’d have stuff strewn all over the world and some really inconvenient events. They frown upon trying to board a flight without a valid travel document.

Bath / shower I take mine off. I'm an adult.
What, you think I'm gonna take some time to wash my toes and my balls but I'm not gonna wash that bit of my left wrist because the watch is always in the way? And I don't need to know the time for any washroom activities, I know how long they take.

If I'm showering at a public place and don't want to leave an expensive watch in my bag/locker I will just keep it with me. But I generally wear a cheaper digital watch for the gym rather than a $$$ mechanical one so not too concerned about leaving it in the locker when I go off for a wash.

If swimming, I'll wear it (if metal or rubber strap). If sleeping in my own bed, I'll take it off as prefer not to wear much. Although if I'm in someone else's bed I might keep it on as it allows for a quick exit if needed... one less thing to think about...

I wear my watch only outside the house but not to workout (my Fitbit is made for that) and not swimming either! I don’t need to check time or remember the date when in the pool, and if I do, I look at the huge clock on the wall

I only wear metal bracelets. I live in a humid place and got tired of replacing $500 straps. While they could be worn all the time, not to shower, sleep or workout. Don’t need the distraction. I will take it off when performing a procedure that requires sterile gloves (work in healthcare).

Off just for a shower.

Rarely wear while working out either. But it happens when necessary.

All the time, to gym as well but exclude shower and sleep and when doing something potentially dangerous to my watch, such as fixing some stuff in the house, washing dishes, playing with kids..

I put it on in the morning and take it off at bed time. If I shower I take it off except about once a month for a good cleaning with body wash and old toothbrush in the shower. If I am digging in the yard or working on the car or anything else where it can get banged up it also comes off. I like my stuff looking new and work hard to keep it that way.

If wearing it is not appropriate for the event, I usually refrain. If im going to be more worried and aware of the watch than the activity, i would not.
