Black dial sky dweller

Curious if the new sky dweller black is the same chocolatey color the DJ 41s are? I much prefer the more jet black . Already have the blue sky dweller and cannot decide between the white or the black. I’m leaning towards the black since I already have a DJ two white dial. But definitely do not want it if it is not a true black. Would appreciate clarification. Cheers!

This sort of shows it. It's from when I was choosing which to buy. My old DJII is in the middle. It varies as it's more of a sunburst. Depends on the angle to the lighting.

I know this question has been asked, but can’t remember. Is the blue on your SkyD the same as the dial on your DJ2?

Not seen them side by side, but I felt they were very similar blues.

Me neither. Although, I have on authority from one who owns a DJ and Sky Dweller in blue that the dials are the same.

Agree with Steve...does not appear to be a "true" black from the photos I've seen (like in Lee's pic).

But, man...that sure wouldn't deter me. It's amazing looking! And, do I understand correctly you've already got one?

Not a true black if dial is the same black as the gold version.

Yes! If the black steel had that white sub dial, I would be moving heaven and earth to get it.

It makes it tempting to skip the waitlist and just go for the WG

Ha, you are more right than you know, mate, as I've just had three whiskies and two glasses of wine, but I was replying to the post above mine on blue dials.

I bought some Christmas Mead for the big day tomorrow, hope it tastes good as we've no mulled wine left as back up.
