It would still be a Sub, of course! The only reason he stopped wearing it in the first place is because Omega offered to pay the franchise big bucks for product placement!

I think the real question is, would he still wear the classic ND Sub, or a date reference? I don't think a Sub w/ date existed when Connery wore it up until Thunderball in 1965. However, the late great Mr. Moore was still wearing the ND (albeit modified with the buzzsaw bezel) in Live and Let Die in 1973, a few years after the date was introduced...I'm gonna go with the 114060 if Bond went back to Rolex today.

Yep, a Black Bay. I think the BB is today, as the 6538 was in the 50's and 60's.

Nope. It was a Sub. Live and Let Die

He'd have a Bremont, like Colin Firth, the Kingsman.

If a Rolex, he'd stay with the Sub that he helped make iconic.

I think the question can be broken down to 4 parts (or possibly 5):-

1. (Fictional) Which Rolex would Q choose?

2. (Fictional) If Q leaves it to James, which Rolex would James choose?

3. (Reality) Which would the Director of the movie choose?

4. (Reality) Which model would Rolex choose?

5. (Reality) If you think the Actor has a say in this (which I don't think so), which Rolex would the Actor choose?

Forgive me for asking... I'm just curious as all get out if that is your watch and you wear it in Oklahoma? It's, um, memorable.

Probably in the minority. But I'm going DSSD. It's an engineering marvel and could fit all kinds of Q gadgets. Plus he could take it off his wrist and really use it as its own 'knuckleduster'.

Regretfully, not my watch. I stole that photo off the internet machine. Dare I say that I don't have the ... um ... panache to pull that off. Oh, and Oklahoma is not really a leopard Daytona kind of place. More like this...

Maybe a Sky Dweller. The latest and greatest that Rolex wants to manifest.

I think I would have to agree with this statement. DSSD or SD43, bigger options for Q to work with.

SD43 for product placement (and also because of the modern proportions) or a SS Sub (not the Hulk though). I think it would be either of these because they are dive watches and 007 had a naval background, so very fitting.

It would either be an explorer like in the books or a Sub like he wore in the past

Bet that 6542 is worth a fortune today - does anyone know what happened to it?
