Crazy hype but interesting to watch unfold in real time with some even comparing it to the ss Daytona.

It's a nice watch, but I wait until prices are MSRP-10%

Hype or not, it's an awesome reference and the only modern sub I'd buy (and did). I think it's also great for the upcoming holidays as well.

Forgive me for loving the LV since I bought it in 2014. It’s a watch I’d never sell.
It’s not for everyone but it unusual characteristics appeal to me. The fact it’s now in demand is a bonus. Seriously, even if prices reach 15k I’d keep mine.

it's an interesting watch in person but more of a novelty piece imo.

I owned and loved it. But it never got wrist time onceI got my Daytona, so I sold it. It looked great on the wrist IMO and I'm more of a blue guy.

I bought it when it first came out and most people did not like the LV. That has apparently changed.

Like many have said... I fell in love with it a few years ago and bought it pre loved... the prices people are asking for these watches is crazy (I wonder what they are actually selling for). As an owner it’s nice knowing these are “worth more” (at least presently. Prices may go back down...) but you only make money if you sell and I’m never selling mine

Some DOUBT for me. I don't really go for any of the dual color dials. For me it's not aesthetically pleasing. As far as the Hulk I'm very happy people like them because I was able to buy a lightly used 114060 (my first Rolex) for $5375 as the seller wanted to change to a Hulk. He paid $8100 for the 114060 just 9 months earlier. I just can't understand what he was thinking. Probably a $4000 loss to change to a Hulk.. Maybe he really just needed cash, who knows. Interesting anyway.

Absolutely love the dial its a real beauty, but not the ceramic insert . I wonder how it would look with a Black ceramic insert ?.

I hadn't been interested in the LV and didn't understand the hype until I saw one in the wild. It was stunning. Maybe it's not for everyday wearing, but perfect for when you want to unleash the beast within.

I get it. It’s very sexy. And fun.

I gave mine away. I’m kicking myself.

Green doesnt go along with most clothing.
I'd go with the blnr or black sub instead, more versatile.

I think it has to do with something different. Forever you choice for a Sub was black or blue sans serti.

More of a GMT guy myself but I really think the LVc is a stunning piece. Wouldn't be my first choice but again more of a GMT / Daytona guy :)

There will be no flippin of Mine. It will be for the No.1 Son to have and to hold. The Dial in the Florida Sun just blew my socks off ! Breath Taking. But, It Ain't Easy being Me !

I understand the attraction. I just want it because it would look good in the watchbox snuggled between my BLNR, SubC LN and Kermit. Sort of like, complete the whole set kind a deal.

But it's not worth the current crazy prices. I'm crazy, but I'm not stupid.

May sound cynical, but in HK it is true. people are buying the LVc so they can feel superior to the 116610LN-wearing masses.

The street price here is $2000 more than a black dial, and it's virtually impossible to get from an AD. I doubt folks are paying an extra $2000 based on a genuine love of the color green.

I don't find the LV particularly nice. It does have a unique dial for the steel series which adds some zip too. Some like it because of the thrilling chase, others because they're tired of LN, some because they just like it and finally some that want to turn a profit quickly. I think that a blue sub is the real stunner and the LV just a runner up keeping the sub frenzy alive.

Bought the hype, unimpressed, flipped it for profit. No complaint.

Cool reference, but not for me. Interesting to see it go from popular to super hyped these last few months though.

Are there many AD's where you are or are there also B&M grey market Rolex retailers?
