Poll: SD43 126600 vs Bluesy 116613LB

You can only pick one, never to sell it, and never will you ever acquire the other. Which will it be?

(I'm having a terribly tough time trying to decided which to go with )

Had the 116613LN. Now have the 126600. It’s an absolute no brainier for me.

If you’re at all concerned about pcl scratches it will be a no brainier for you too

And as an only one, the SD43 is more versatile IMO.

(Unless your wrists are smaller than 6.5 inches in which case you might find the SD a little in the large side)

With all due respect Scott, I would’ve picked the
SD43 too if I would’ve had the TT LN .... and I did
Have an older 5 digit one .... Did....

The Bluesy is a totally different animal even though the
Gold steel combo is the same on the bezel and bracelet...
Don’t get me wrong the SD43 is very attractive and I’m sure it
fits and wears quite nicely ... But if only one ?
For me it’d be the Bluesy .... I’m mesmerized each and
eveytime I wear mine ...

Bluesy, but I’m biased because bluesy!

I love them both and will add SD43 sometime in future ( perhaps a year or two, the wounds of watch expenses are still fresh in my household).

But given your requirement of one only, it would be the 116613LB for me.

Ahh...but what you're forgetting Mario is that I chose the LN over the LB because I prefer the black dial TT

I have to say TT. But I am an absolute sucker for the combo. Also despite having owned the 43 the Sub’s 40mm is my sweet spot.

Sd43 here

Simply put, I'm not a two tone guy. Better movement, satin dial, and yes slightly larger size, make the SD43 my preferred choice.

I also prefer the more refined lug design of the SD43

My 116613 LB is long gone. Just not capable of pulling off TT. Very happy with this now.

this comment pretty much sums it up for me as well!

Need to let the dust settle before I start hinting about my next acquisition.

Both of those watches are on my wish list. Tough call - if I had to go one way or the other I think the Sea Dweller might edge it but that could be because it’s new and therefore feels a bit more exciting to me. I haven’t tried one on though, and in real life it could feel too big for my skinny wrist, in which case the bluesy would win.

The SD43 for me. While I appreciate the TT Submariner, and have owned it, the SD43 is the ultimate Rolex Diver for me. The size, bezel, bracelet, dial and red text are all perfect. It could be a one and only for me and a lifetime watch.

I love the size of the SD 4K. For my 6.5 wrist the New SD is too large for my taste. With that said I’d get the Blusey. But.....I have the blusey and wear my SD 4K more often bc it flies under the radar. The blusey is more of my summer watch!

Prefer all SS and the versatility of the SD. The 116613LB is one hell of a looker though.

Tough call, very different watches and both beautiful. I think the right answer is "both."

But for me it would be the SD, I don't wear any YG.

SS for me yesterday, today and tomorrow. The Bluesy dial is really amazing though, but not enough to overcome my dislike for TT.

SD43 for me. I love the look of the LB, but only on display or on other people. It looks awful on me.

Bluesy. I love the blue dial and the Sub fits my wrist better. Both are sweet though!

I'll take the SD over the TT.

But...to be fair, I voted for the bluesy b/c TT always gets pounded over steel on TRF polls. So I wanted to give the bluesy some love.

Is it just me or shouldn't there be a "both" option?

I vote SD43. I was blown away at the AD.

An ex work colleague had the Bluesey and boy did it look good, I loved it. But I could never pull it off, too showy, it's not me.

TT for me although the SD43 is a very nice watch. It depends what you want really, TT slightly more dressy than the SD diver.
