44 Offshore 26400 - Thoughts?

Been wanting to get a 44mm ROO but still a bit cold feet. Had a 42 navy and wasn’t a fan of the small 3126/3840, plus with the new CODE1159 chrono movements coming out, what do you all think about the future of the 26400?

Really like the design but not sure if now’s the best time to buy, even at low 20s preowned. I need some advice

One of the best APs IMO.
Looks spectacular in the wild and wears very comfy for a 44.

The new chrono movement will eventually make it's way to the ROC/ROO line for sure. However, as with all new movements, it is for now, largely untested. And to accomodate the new movement, AP probably need a new ROO design and that will take time. If you love this watch, by all means, go for it.

P/S : nice shot

I'm also considering the 44mm ROO, I'd say go for it!

My biggest issue is that I cannot decide between the discontinued White dial SS, or the current Gray dial TI.

I think the AP 44mm is the best looking sports watch there is, take a moment to look at the 44mm thread on this forum, you hardly ever see a bad wrist shot even when the watch looks a bit big. Compare that with the RM thread where in my opinion in 70% of the wrist shots the watch/wrist looks just terrible.

That Ti 44 looks awesome!

Who knows when the movement will make it into the ROO, and what those models will look like?
While I like the overall look of the blue dial 42mm with the ROC movement, the main hands are awful.

Agree, it's a fantastic all round watch, and the pics of the 42 and 44 look very similar in the other thread on the new issues, so I generally feel if you can wear one you can the other.

Thanks all, will post an incoming soon
So I tried calling Clearwater a few times but their # is no longer in service. I see they’re still listed on APs site, had great experience there, would be a bummer if they closed.

Do they still sell Grand Prix straps?

This should be part of any AP collection!

It has great wrist presence without being loud.

Looking forward to the incoming!
