New to modding
I would like to ask those in the 'know' (dp are you listening?) for advice on which tools you would recommend as a beginning to watch modding. I have ordered a hand painted Great Wave Off Kanagawa dial from Lucius Atelier and now need the case, movement and crystal. I have a small set of flat watchmakers screwdrivers but lack a movement holder, hand installation tools, crystal press, etc. The mod project will be with Seiko parts, of which there are tons to choose from. What tools (at a minimum) do you guys think I should purchase?

I hear ya', Ronnie!
I take a more Macgyver approach, using some tools my dad made and used in his earlier days. And always suggest experimenting on a test watch to reduce the learning curve. But here's my list: -adjustable case openers of various types -hand remover tool -set of hand setters [I prefer free hand vs hand press] -dial protector [thin plastic layer that goes over the dial while setting hands to eliminate any damage] -crystal press -movement holder -watch holder -small tweezers -container of silicone grease for the seals -set of screw drivers -air duster -small containers to hold parts while working That should get you started. Good luck and enjoy the mod! dP
