Which one would you buy?
Buying a polar explorer 2. New 42mm one.
Option 1 is from 2013 but serviced from Rolex in 2019 still with all stickers. They replaced the bezel for a new one at service. Box papers etc. Option 2 is 2018 watch box and papers. Looks immaculate? But no stickers and has been worn. Both the same price roughly. The option 2 is £70 cheaper. Option one is in the UK and the option 2 is in Spain. Both reliable sources. I’m in the UK? What would you choose? |

I would prefer Option 2.
It is newer, still original, and should have the remainder of Rolex 5 year warranty. |

Option 2, wear it and enjoy your time.

Sounds like a good excuse to go ‘explore’ Spain.
I don’t know what the prices are but £70 is probably 1-2%; ie not a lot. The 2013 has probably been heavily refinished. If the bezel needed replacing there’s a good chance the case saw its fair share of abuse also. |

option #2
but just curious why a 2013 Exp II still has stickers after Rolex service. They would have removed them. Did the previous owner wear the watch with stickers on? |

My Vote... Option 2 is 2018 watch box and papers. Looks immaculate? But no stickers and has been worn.

Too many questions on option 1.
Why did it need a service after only a few years? Why did it need a new bezel? Why does it have "stickers"?, they don't come with a service except on the back. It's 7 years old, why is it priced at more than the practically new one?

Option 2 if you can import it from Spain successfully after duties and taxes.

I went with option 2. It was a Chrono24 deal with escrow which made me feel safer. Plus it’s EU so no tax.
