Yes, other than the date function. The GMT is the function I use most, both at home and travel.

i use the time zones on my GMTs all the time, as i travel a fair bit. yes. there’s a worldtime feature on my phone. but i like seeing the time zone at home at a glance. it’s easy if i’m on the west coast, and home is on the east coast... but if i’m in japan or new zealand, it can be hard to remember what time it is back home.

i often use the chronograph feature of my daytona either to time things in the kitchen, or just for fun.

When I’m not traveling, I use my SkyD GMT function differently than it was intended. I use the 24 hr dial to track a location I’m interested in and use the hands to track my home time. That way I get to enjoy the GMT complication.

I used to wear a GMT when traveling a lot between the US time zones and to Europe and Asia, now that I'm pretty much sedentary in CA I don't need one anymore.

Don’t own one. But I’d assume other than date, it is the most useful complication in modern times. I use my sub for timing every now and then, but if traveling, double time zone on your wrist would be very nice.

I 100% use the GMT feature, not just for traveling (which I do a lot) but also for knowing the time at my company’s corporate HQ as I work in an overseas division.

Same for me (when I had it). Unfortunately I made the very bad decision to sell my GMT two years ago.

I used to be disappointed living in the uk as it meant that i have the gmt hand set to the same as local time rendering it somewhat useless....now i live in france i have the gmt hand set to gmt and the hour set to local time.....having said its only one hour difference but i finally feel like im using the gmt function after 30 yrs

Everyday.

Even in the digital age where you can have time zones/clocks set on your phone/computer for locales all over the world, it is still faster for me to simply look at my wrist and know in an analog instant know the time/date/day/night of the world Im looking at.

Invaluable for my work.

Nope.

Just faster to do the math in my head when I travel on occasion. It's all about the aesthetics for me.

Sold my GMT a couple of years, but as an astronomer I did find the function
very useful for using in Greenwich mean astronomical time and with the date change
taking place at midday.

When in my home country, which is UK, I have 24hr hand set to home time as is the hour hand with bezel permanently set to either +7 or +8hrs depending on BST or GMT at the time.
When I travel I use the jumping hour hand set to local time with 24hr hand showing home time.

I use the jump hour hand frequently. I almost never look at the GMT hand or bezel, though, because I find it easier to just do the math.

I have a GMT in my head. I dunno - unless you are traveling back across two or three different zones against the date change...what's the point? You know what time it is at home a few seconds after you look at your watch, no matter where you are...

For me, the GMT hand looks cool. As does the watch. Especially that Tudor.

I have to admit that in the time that I've owned my 116710BLNR, I have not traveled out of my time zone.

I bought it because I think it's a beautiful watch and that I can use the GMT complication if I need it.

When I wear it I have the 24-hour hand to UTC.

On my 16710, I keep the 24-hour hand on my home timezone, just because that was the original purpose of the Explorer II.

I set my Explorer II GMT hand to Swiss time. I don’t travel through multiple time zones often but I just like the idea of knowing what time it is at the place where it all happens... in Switzerland.

I used to live in London and have many friends there. I track GMT/BST time. Also, seeing that GMT hand throughout the day makes me think fondly of my time there and the great memories I have of the city, country and people.

Bottom line it puts a smile on my face
