I would highly recommend the new DJ36 reference. I absolutely love it.

I think my DJ36 is a very strong contender for the best looking overall Rolex!

Thank you. It doesn’t get as much wear as it use to, but still enjoy it from time to time. The new 41 has stolen the spotlight.

Wicked DJ. All of my favorite features. Blue sunburst. Fluted bezel. Roulette dial.

Gents,

I respectfully present the most quintessential DJ of all time:

16030 on Jubilee with tapestry slate grey dial

Cheers

Of course I love them all....

To the DJ is the most iconic Rolex. There’s something about it that I don’t see in any other model except for the DD that share very similar design language.
If you already have a steel DJ / blue face jubilee, I would opt for a TT DJ41.
If on the other hand I will get a DJ to be my one and only Rolex I would go for the DJ 41 blue dial / sticks / jubilee.

What is your favorite Datejust of all time?

My Datejust is black. With the rays of the sun it can confuse the color.
That's why I'm looking at the blue. Bezel fluted and jubilee is synonymous with Datejust. I don't see Datejust any other way

You can't go wrong. In this case, as you already have a jubilee an oyster bracelet can be a good choice also.

SS Fluted bezel. Used to be all about the jubilee, now am all oyster. Prefer white or MOP dial.

Great photos gentlemen. My next Rolex is likely going to be a 16234. I have a pretty specific idea of what I want: P or K serial, Romans, blue/white/silver dial. Would love to add another Rolex icon to the collection.
